26^th April 2023 – Investigation team of Peel Regional Police has arrested and charged 2 Brampton men yesterday in an attempt murder investigation.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 6:19 a.m., 6 victims were present in a residence in the area of Mayfield Road and Marysfield Road in Brampton when the suspects allegedly broke in, broke windows and property and assaulted the victims. One victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition after being struck with a machete. The other victims suffered minor injuries and were cleared at the scene by Paramedics.

Abhishek Abhishek, 22, Brampton has been charged with:

• Break and Enter with intent to commit indictable offence;
• Mischief under $5,000;
• Utter threat to cause death or bodily harm;
• Attempt murder;
• Assault x 2
• Mischief over $5,000 x 3

Harmandeep Behleem, 22, has been charged with:

• Break and Enter with intent to commit indictable offence;
• Mischief under $5,000;
• Attempt murder;
• Assault x 2
• Mischief over $5,000 x 3
