First Ever Drive-Thru Parade for India’s Independence Day Celebrations in Toronto

29th June 2021 – The Consulate General of India in Toronto has announced the first-ever drive-thru parade for India’s Independence Day celebrations in Toronto on the upcoming 15th August. In collaboration with Panorama India, Paramount Fine Foods and City of Mississauga, the event would be first of its kind and would take place on the day at Paramount Fine Foods Center in Mississauga between 11 A.M. to 7 P.M.

To be able to attend the event, Panorama India and the CGI office would share the registration details in the coming days. The entry to the event would be free. Various live performances and India State Pavilions would be the highlights of the event. The event would also be captured on all TV and media partners. Amid loosened COVID-19 restrictions, the event is expected to see many visitors.
