5^th August 2021 – Yesterday, a furious and uncontrolled mob entered and attacked a Hindu temple in the Bhong city of Rahim Yar Khan district of Pakistan.

Dr. Ramesh Vankwani, who is a member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, posted some shocking visuals from the time of attack on the temple. In a series of tweets he posted on Twitter, the mob can be seen breaking the religious idols frantically.

In one of the videos, the mob can also be seen heckling and beating Hindu men with sticks and bricks.

Earlier today, Dr. Vankwani, who is also Patron-in-Chief for Pakistan Hindu Council, informed that FIR has now been registered against the culprits in this case. However, he alleged that the local police failed to respond on time.

HTC condemns this attack in the harshest of the words. UN Plan of Action to Safeguard Religious Sites shall be invoked in such events. It is time for Canadian public and political class to know more about the atrocities which Hindus face each day.
