Male suspect sought for hate-related graffiti in Toronto

16th September 2021 – Toronto Police Service is looking for male suspect who allegedly spray-painted hate-related graffiti on front of three buildings in the Eastern Avenue and Knox Avenue Area of the city of Toronto.

Police received a call on 11th September 16, 2021 during early hours of the day about this man. He is suspected to have attacked some more buildings in the Front Street West and John Street Area. Police has also released a security footage of the suspect.

The suspect is described as 6’ tall and 220 pounds with heavy build. Police is investigating this incident as hate-related offence. In its press release, TPS noted that wilful promotion of hatred and advocating genocide are hate propaganda (hate speech) offences which require the Attorney General’s consent.
