Brampton resident arrested and charged in Re-Vined Trailers Investigation

27th July 2025 – Investigators from the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau have laid charges in connection with an ongoing investigation involving trailers believed to have been re-vined.

On Friday, July 11, 2025, investigators located six trailers within an outdoor storage facility in the Town of Caledon. The investigation revealed that the space had been rented by Satwinder Singh, and all six trailers had been re-vined. Inside, officers discovered approximately $56,000 worth of stolen property that had been previously reported to police.

On July 22, 2025, Satwinder Singh, a 24-year-old resident of Brampton, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime ×7
• Tampering with Vehicle Identification Number ×6

Singh was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
