31st January 2025 – A family-run variety store in Flamborough was robbed by a group of thieves.
Last Saturday, a group of six female suspects entered the store with an intention to steal multiple items from the store. While some women engaged the owners and the staff into a conversation and made small purchases, the other members of the group attempted to steal various items from the store.
Some suspects made way to the residential portion of the store and opened closets and drawers.
Once the owners understood the true intentions of the group, they confronted them and forced them to leave. The suspects ran away through the front door and left in a black SUV that was parked nearby.
As the owners confronted the suspects, one of them bit the owner as well.
Suspects were described as being between 25-60 years old, female, wearing dark winter clothing and some appeared to be wearing headscarves.
