22^nd November 2024 – Pembina Valley RCMP has issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Navjeet Singh in a fatal two-vehicle collision that took place on 15^th November 2024.

The RCMP received a report of two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Provincial Road 201 and Provincial Road 306 on 15^th November 2024 at approximately 7:05 PM.

Investigators determined that a semi-trailer traveling eastbound on Provincial Road 201 failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a southbound SUV. The 35-year-old female driver of the SUV has been identified as Sara Unger, who was declared deceased on scene. Her, 8-year-old daughter, Alexa Unger was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries which she succumbed to.

Navjeet Singh was also transported to the hospital where he was treated and released.

RCMP has charged the 25-year-old, Navjeet Singh from Brampton with:

• Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle causing death x 2
• Obstructing Peace Officer
