Three Brampton residents charged, one at large for break and enter at multiple places of worship
4th March 2022 – Peel Regional Police has confirmed today that they have charged 3 Brampton residents after a series of break and enter happened at places of worship from multiple faiths, including 6 prominent Hindu temples at several locations in Brampton and Mississauga.
In a span of 3-4 months, from November 2021 to March 2022, the suspects gained access to buildings, proceeded to remove cash from donation boxes and fled the area.
Although, the police is not suspecting these to be hate-crimes, the on-going investigation could lead to more details in this regard.
A team of officers were assigned to the investigation which managed to arrest the below listed suspects. In all, they have been laid with 78 charges.
Jagdish Pandher, 39-year-old, Brampton
Gursharnjeet Dhindsa, 31-year-old, Brampton
Parminder Gill, 42-year-old, Brampton
All 3 men will be appearing for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton today.
Police is continuing to search for the 4th suspect.
