18th January 2025 – Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, hailing from Gujarat India, is wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) authorities and is on the list of the investigation agency’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives.
FBI has announced a reward of up to $250,000 for information leading to Patel’s arrest.
What did he do?
On 12th April 2015, he allegedly killed his newly-wedded-wife, Palak Patel, by striking her several times with an object while they were working at a donut shop in Hanover, Maryland. The couple had moved to the USA recently and worked at a local donut shop in Hanover.
On the night of the murder, both were on night duty. A video surveillance camera showed that the couple went to the store room of the donut shop where the man killed his wife. After the murder, he left for his apartment where he changed his clothes. He grabbed his passport and the available cash at the apartment and took a taxi a hotel near Newark Liberty International Airport.
