Police issues Canada-wide arrest warrant for suspect in Brampton Homicide Investigation

26th February 2026 – Investigators from the Homicide Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect wanted in connection with a homicide investigation.

On Aug. 19, 2025, two suspects allegedly entered a residence near Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway in Brampton and shot two individuals. One victim died, while the second was treated for gunshot wounds and later released.

The following October, 24-year-old Dilpreet Singh of Brampton was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.

Investigators have now identified the second suspect as 29-year-old Manpreet Singh of no fixed address, who is currently wanted on a Canada‑Wide Warrant for the following offences:

  • First Degree Murder
  • Attempted Murder with a Firearm

Singh is described as 5’10”, medium build, with straight black hair, brown eyes, a full beard, and a right forearm tattoo reading “Manna (heart symbol) Sukh.”

Investigators have reason to believe that Singh may be armed and dangerous. If seen, please do not approach and call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information pertaining to the investigation, including the location of Manpreet Singh, is asked to contact the Homicide Bureau at 905-453-3311, ext. 3205. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
